COMMON KEY ENVIRONMENTAL PARAMETERS 

As key environmental parameters in the field of agriculture we define parameters which are determining growing and ripening conditions, such as temperature, precipitation, radiation, soil moisture as well as parameters describing the status of vegetation like biomass (yield), Leaf Area Index, phenological status or the blooming intensity.

 

Data on landscape, plot, plant, fruit and leave scale are monitored in the common MONALISA test-sites. All data are recorded with a high temporal repetition rate to allow the construction of multi -scale time series data sets.
